If anyone owns Lindrick dark brown cordovan boots by Crockett & Jones, could you pleas share with some reviews? (fit, quality, formality, etc) I wonder whether you guys wear more often or less, as time goes. Thank you.

FIT - I wear a size UK6 in these on the versatile 325 last. My feet are quite narrow and hence would probably be able to go down half a size. They are comfortable through the work day cycle involving periodic walks.

QUALITY - They were the first out of 3 pairs of C&J Cordovan shoes I own and the quality of the Horween Cordovan is consistent throughout. I believe each pair would have some slight variations in the shades of dark brown - which is part of the material’s character.

FORMALITY - They are part of my regular rotation of shoes and get work typically about twice a week. It is always a joy to put them on. In terms of outfits, I’ve found them to complement my ensembles involving heavier weight fabrics better than outfits with fine wools - which lends itself to more smart casual looks.

Quick question, if I may: how does the 378 last compare/fit like in contrast to the 325? Very interested in picking up a pair of Ross. Thank you.
It's slightly larger, particularly around the top. They're also quite wide.
I wear them with heavy boot socks and think that's how they were designed to be worn.

Shameless PSA plug here. Anyone here interested in pair of C&J for BB brown shell wingtips? These are 240 last, flat welt version. Size 9D US (BB marks in US sizes). Got them at the sale via gift card so can't return. Passing the deal at $475 shipped within USA via PP f&f. Took it out the box to inspect, looks perfect to me, nice olive tones.

That's a good price!
