Has anyone been to the C&J factory shop recently? What kind of stock do they have in at the moment?

I'm due my annual visit soon and I fancy a calf loafer or Suede Chukka of some description.

Hey guys I'm looking to sell a brand new pair of Connaught's in 13D, black calf for $275. Just dropped the price in the classified section. They are a size too large for me, unfortunately. Otherwise they'd be a perfect complement to another black oxford I have (Santoni). Actually have another black oxford pair too (Bruno Magli) that is more of a weekly driver than the Santoni. Yes I like oxfords, black and brown.

In any case it's brand new with box if anyone in size 13-14 is looking.

Speaking of the Barney's sale, I ordered the unlined suede Hartland 2 chukkas for $309 + tax which arrived today.
Interweb searching implied they're on the 359 last however they are in fact on the 377 according to the label on the box.
I had no idea what the 359 last is like so it really didn't matter and Barney's has free return shipping so I spun the roulette wheel that is Barney's C&J sizing and ordered a pair in size 10M US. They were out of 10.5US which is what I usually get with Barney's C&J but I've had luck with a couple pairs marked 10US before (Cavendish, Chelsea 5, suede Tetbury but not the calf ones). I wear 9.5E in UK sized C&J.
Anyway, they arrived and were marked 10E versus D width for every other pair of Barney's C&J I have. They fit me. I doubt they're US E width as they're pretty narrow.

so I guess we can say the new Barneys is US 10M = 9.5E UK?

Nice. It's a great deal. I wanted some C&J Cleverleys, but out of my size.
