1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Hello - I'm looking at picking up a pair of Skye 3 boots and I have a couple of questions I hope the local experts can help with!

First one is sizing. I'm a 7.5 UK in Carmina Rain. With dress socks they are right on the money and slightly snug on the instep as an Oxford and fit nicely as a blucher.

Second question is: Where is the best place to buy them for someone living in the US? Pediwear is out of stock. Any other ideas? Thanks!

Does anyone know if the RL Rossendale shortwing blucher is made by C&J? If so what last?

US size RL Marlow is .5 size up from UK? 9.5D US is 9E UK or 8.5E UK full size. How does Ralphie size his C&J Shell line?

Chip, this is one of those debates that has never been fully resolved. Some say half size, some say full. Based on all of the back and forth this is what I've come to accept as the best advice:

If your US Marlows fit tight, then size down only half size to UK. If your Marlows are loose then size down a full size. (If your Marlows fit perfectly, then my guess is you can probably go either way, depending if you prefer a slightly loose fit (full size) or a slightly snug fit (half size).

I like the new tassel and Harvard looks. The tassel loafer shape and toe is almost identical to the Edward Green Piccadilly loafers I bought last month:
