1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I believe the RL Marlow Tassel Shell Cordovan loafer is still made on last 72. I would assume their Suede model is on the same last. It's much narrower than 325 in the toe box.

RL Marlow Shell Cordovan Penny is on last 314 I believe.

My two most recent C&J acquisitions...the Cavendish in Polo Suede and the Teign in Dark Brown Suede.

This is actually my second pair of Teign's...the first pair recently had a catastrophic encounter with a spilled bottle of olive oil.

These are respectively the 28th and 29th pair in my C&J repertoire.

Picked up some Purdey Islay's. Got a UK 9 when my normal UK size is 9.5 hoping they would fit and they do! Not sure if this is the 325 last since I'm a 9.5 on that and these boots aren't that tight...hmmm

Does anyone have experience or views on the BB suede wingtip boot that I believe is made by C&J ?

I have them and like them. The broguing may not be for everyone, but I don't mind. They are fairly chunky. 325 last if I recall correctly. Fit TTS.

Superb. A great example of less being more. The uncluttered design lets the rich, brown leather do the talking. I much prefer these to your brogues, nice as those are. A truly timeless look.

My C&J Cranford 3 in black arrived yesterday. UK 9.5E 360 last, same as the C&J Weybridge I bought back in January. Correct size for sure, but perhaps more room in the toe box than I need. The Cranford 3 seems to fit differently than the Weybridge, but once on, it is fine. My high instep and high arch are always a problem on Chelsea boots. I think the Weybridge fits me better overall, but I did not do a direct comparison. May do so tonight and report back.

I know the right one has a small crease, but it was the best pair C&J had and looks far less bad in real life.
