1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Massdrop is doing a drop on Saphir Suede Kit (Gommadin Suede & Nubuck Cleaner, Omni’Nettoyant Suede Shampoo and brush, and Super Invulner Waterproofing Spray) right now which ends in 3 days. $45.99 plus $7.95 shipping in the U.S.

@shoelover: PM me if you need a referral.

Right now I only have a spray from Allen Edmonds that I need to burn through, but don't have more room for more shoe care stuff so may postpone buying the kit for now.

    Somewhat similar.

lowndes (BG and LAST 348) v. repton (HG and LAST 337)

The George Cleverley "Thomas" double monk was/is very similar to the Repton albeit with a rounder toe.

I have owned the Lowndes and Thomas.

WTF is up with all these a$$hole e-retailers not stocking anything above size "10". I've only ever purchased 2 pairs of shoes in a sale - a discolored Alden Ravello PTB and a C&J Marlow wingtip. Pisses me right off!

does anyone carry large sizes anymore? were basically being treated like second class citizens, the way wide-footed gents have always mistreated.

C&J for Ralph Laren PTBs today. Sorry lighting, but super shoes nonetheless.
