There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Let me pull the trigger first :D
Thanks for the info. I have a black tetbury, brown lingfield and black savile. I think the Coniston will fill a hole in my collection. Does it look good with SCs?

+1. Heel looks like AS Exclusive heel:

I've never seen a C&J heel like that.

The heel stack is to high to be C&J, as noted, but th heel cup is also shaped much differently. AS seems like a reasonable bet just by process of elimination (they're not C&J, don't look like EG, G&G doesn't have capacity for contract manufacturing, and are too high grade for Loake). Only other guess would be Cheaney - they have the little oval cutout with the last info, and do some contract work for a shop local to me at any rate. But the heel stack still says AS to me.

I dunno, the heel looks pretty much exactly the same to my eye. Slanted rubber at the back, 4 nails - one in each corner, pretty much the same shape and contour. Other details such as the nails at the toe are obviously different, but the heel looks identical IMO. I could be wrong of course, but I would bet that's some sort of custom level AS.

Hi, if you're interested in the boot, buy it. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! Yes, it looks killer with a SC.

Of the George Cleverleys I've had and handled, all were C&J handgrade and sold to me as such. It does have a oval circle for sizing though

^^well if it is C&J handgrade I wish they would improve the heel cup and increase the heel stack on their self branded shoes. The shoe shown above is more or less the same price as C&J handgrade but with a couple of key additional features.

That particular sole edge finishing is typical of AS Exclusive, general proportions are similar too, heel patterns is the same, all have 4 nails only in the corners.

The bottom picture is 109, and looks like the Armfield.

The top pictures are of a chiseled toe, and I don't think it is 724 or 104. Probably a handgrade last like the 53.

I really like the workmanship on my AS 99 and 104 lasted shoes, the sole finishing on AS Exclusive is like C&J Handgrade. Beautiful shaped heels and narrow waist.
