Pretty comfortable for my foot and I think the plain toe with the medallion stands out a bit from everyone else's shoes - in a good way.

Two weeks ago i did my first buy from a member of SF. I came to the rescue and put dmash out of his misery when i bought his NIB Clifford :)
Today they arrived, here´s the unpacking of my new shoes...

I´m very happy with the shoes, i think they fit as perfect as a RTW shoe could do on my feet :)
In the "what shoes are you wearing thread" someone pointed out that balmorals should have no gap but since i have a very high insteap this is impossible for me. Have the Connaught i 7.5E and the gap is similar to the Clifford even if that last is wider. I´m keeping them :slayer:

Thank you. When are we going to see your new Weymouths in action? :)

I got some Weymouths in July this year. I love them.

Unfortunately I think the 337 last fits me better than the 358, which makes future C&J purchases a bit problematic.

Do you guys know how the 348 (Lowndes) and 341 Lasts compare to the Weymouth's 337? I wear a 9.5E in 348 and 341 so curious whether I need to size up or down due to the 337 last?

I have the Monkton (single monkstrap) and Guildford (full brogue oxford) in the 348 last so I'll do a comparison when I get home but to my mind they're similar. From what I can recall, the 337 feels a tad wider and the 348 is slightly more elongated.

    Thanks!

So basically you wear the same size across lasts?

Yes, 9.5 in all lasts. Although if I were to get a suede shoe, I'd go down to a 9 as I understand it stretches quite a bit

I almost bought these but you snagged them first. I wanted to wait for the weymouths to make sure the size was OK before putting over a thousand dollars in one basket. that and the girlfriend is beginning to get suspicious of all the new shoes. I ended up with a pair of AE strand in brown cordovan instead.

    Enjoy them they look great.
