Jump on them!! Photos of mine below...
There are a few exclusive French models, including the Somerville and Scarsdale (handgrade).
Sharp...must be the camera but yours have a red tint.
Yes, it is the lighting of the room that gives them that tint...
My first pair of C&J's: Bristols in brown suede.
Very nice colors...
Funnily enough, 15 minutes after I have posted this, I received a phone call, saying that my Monktons have arrived. So I picked them up today. And yes, they are definitely a bit reddish.
Crz very noice ^
Would a brown polish help? Now I'm concerned that the Monkton that's on hold for me has a reddish tint.
Thank you, sir.
Don't be concerned too much. It's just a hint of red, and it heavily depends on the lighting conditions. I'm personally going to use a burgundy or mahogany polish, to develop it even further. You can use a brown one, to exterminate it.
You won't go wrong with the chestnut monkton...don't fret over it.
If its a major concern to you...i'll wear mine today and try to get some good pics in natural lighting.
Don't mention it, thank you for sharing.
They are a great colour that you can take a couple of shades either way depending on which polish you use on which day. Superb choice.
What's everyone's thoughts on the Wexford? Can't seem to find any pictures or real posts about them here.
Thanks...I'm hoping for a light tan for summer to wear with linen slacks.
