Wore these today. Laces courtesy of Uncle. @mcarthur Thanks man
Still enjoying these but am so ready for the whiskey MTOs to arrive...
CTB, how good are they
I'm surprised that CJ would send them our like that, get the from an AD, where were they from @Ganbatte?
Wonderful shoes sir. I'm sure your golden Harlechs will arrive soon.
Decent, eh mate? Still very much second fiddle to my Islays, even though these are arguably classier boots. Spent a decent hour in the shp today, always good to have a choice of several teas whilst chewing the fat with Mark.
I'm having a rare evening of polishing tonight so, weather permitting, expect a couple more pics tomorrow...
If only I lived near the C&J factory store! Did you guys see much in the way of 12E? If I called would they mail to NYC do you reckon?
Any of the CJ Stores will, don't know about factory shop. They are only open Friday afternoons GMT 2-5pm. I might pop in once or twice a month and their phone is ringing off the hook. The place can be really busy so sometimes they can't answer all the calls, if you gonna ring ring later in the afternoon. Whether they'll post out I dunno. Assume so but Worth asking the question.
You sure on sizes etc
Brogue heaven, gents.
Argyll made for Hoggs
Hastings made for Purdey
Shoes are a little less ruddy in real life. I only actually polished the latter pair; the other two just got a coat of Lexol to condition them.
I did, however, go to town on this beautiful old pair of Church's Consul which I'm guessing are three if not four decades old.
What were the prices at the factory store?
Stunning boots! Are these the Harlech in the standard dark brown shell?
Dependent on which shoe £130-180GB
the staff said before Christmas that it was rumoured that CJ would be putting up factory shop prices as they had remained static for too long while store prices had risen.
Thanks much. Yes, they are.
