There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Yep. They're both 325 last.

Quote:I took a chance and ordered in size 9US/8UK since that is TTS for me. Hopefully this last is not similar to the marlows by RL, in that I would need to size down by 1/2.

Yeah, usually with Barney's sales I halfway expect to get an order cancellation email a couple days later.

^I got a shipping confirmation from Barneys as well. I was almost hoping to get a cancellation notice from them, since this is such a spontaneous purchase. I guess I'll just have to look forward to trying out the Tetbury.

+1 it's a great boot. Also great for low insteps.

Tetbury is an awesome boot...I have 4 pairs and love each one of them...

@DavidLane - I highly recommend the Teign on the 341 - unlined suede...this is probably my favorite loafer. Extremely comfortable and very breathable because it is unlined. If you are gonna buy one loafer this summer...the Teign is a top-notch option. I wear this multiple times per week.

    PCK1,

Thank you for the help. I was sure I got lost in the fray of the Barney's sale. One fit question, I am a 9.5UK in the Belgrave 337 last, and a 10.5 in the RL Marlows. Should I order a 9.5 for the Teign?

    Thank you for the help,

    DL-

I should note that the RL Marlows are 10.5 US. [IMG]

I have the Saville on the 337 last in UK11E.

My Teigns on the 341 are also UK11E.

So you can prob stay the same size...

My Teigns are a little loose fitting...but I prefer this for loafers.

...also to answer your question about soles...they are leather soles.

and if you go back a week or two...i posted pics of me wearing my Teign's...and if you go back a long long way...i wrote a big write up on the Teign and several other C&J loafers.

So unlike G&G, Barneys actually ships the correct UK size from their listing? Whelp, that means I skipped over my size last night because I thought they would ship half a size too large. Dammit.

I'd be interested in how dark brown the Tetbury is that people are buying.

On a related note, for the 348 last, what non-C&J trees are people using? The toe box is sleek and the woodlore trees seem to push upwards a bit, which isn't necessarily a bad thing as a little more room isn't terrible, but I don't like the idea of the tree pushing against the shoe that much.

    Thoughts?

    I use these on my 348 last C&Js: http://www.johnstonmurphy.com/on/de..._color=Chrome Knob#cgid=mens-shoecare&start=1

I know J&M shoes are subpar, but I'm pleased with how well these particular trees fit. Lifetime guarantee on them too. Exchange them for new ones any time for any reason.

Thanks. I'll take a look next time I'm in one of their stores. Can't tell how sleek they are from the side as they only have top-down pics!
