1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Right, and within makers, the lasts can differ too. AS F is way too wide to consider it as standard, it`s really an F and can't be compared to an E.

Yes. They would be too small for you. You need size UK14. Call the Factory in Northampton and ask them if they can do something for you. I am sure you are not the only big footed guy.

Pics of some well worn C&J Handgrades. The lighter brown (now well polished!) model goes back 12 years or so I`d say...

C&J sizing varies largely from the standard UK sizing of many other British makers.

    I wear a 12D US and in the Tetbury I am a 10.5....

it really depends on your foot....they might actually fit...

If they don't...you can ask them if they will MTO the Tetbury in that size...you will pay an upcharge...but you will get that exact shoe.

Probably a total long shot, but I really love my Conistons. Probably my favorite boot. Does anyone know of any other make ups out there in a darker brown. I know Barneys had a make up and BBBF did as well but unfortunately I can't seem to source a pair of them anywhere in a 12uk. Is the Purdey coloring much different from the regular C&J?

Thanks P6, I normally shift around the polish but this time round put collonil on and had to wipe it off, underneath got this.

Is the difference between the Chiltern and the Molton just the sole? What exactly is a micro rubber sole?

Trying to decide between one for my first C&J chukka boot.

Did you mean Milton? If so good choice, always look at the unlined Chukkas first for me

Hmm, no I meant Molton. I think it's a Barney's exclusive then since I don't really see it anywhere else. Guess that's why it was also confusing me.
