Shelton, mounted on Dainite in 325 last. This model in rough out suede would be great.

For those wondering how ”red” rust Radnors are; here is a comparison with my dark brown Bostons.
Personally, I think the colour is great and versatile.

This is really helpful. When I saw that colour I was really taken by it. I’ve been pondering an Islay GMTO using the Rust SG, something like the Tan SG Islay we did. I agree with your statement that I think it will be a versatile addition…For those wondering how ”red” rust Radnors are; here is a comparison with my dark brown Bostons.

I’m guessing it was to do with samples made for approval/photo shoot… it’s just a sale special run so they’ve not done the photography on the final production run.I cant make sense of this. On the webpage for this rust Radnor boot, it states in the description,
N.B. Radnor does NOT have a storm welt as per the image. This style is made with a regular welt which relates back to traditional marching boots made for the British Army.
But the images DO show a stormwelt. So why on earth have they not advertised images of the correct boot (i.e. the Radnor with NO stormwelt) ?
NoneHow much water resistance does storm welt add over the flat welt?
Yes (or, like a third of the tounge)Lumow, does this boot have half gusseted tongue?
🥺Yes (or, like a third of the tounge)
