For Benchgrade I think they start at GBP 320 - VAT as long as prices were not raised.

Well, closer to $470 if you include shipping and CC fees for international transactions. Still better than getting it locally.

I don't have a price list, I email them and ask; and compare to the online sellers.
But considering that the wait time is 0 in most cases, it's well worth it.

That's why I buy from Bodileys. No import duties and free shipping. Do you think the lower price from the C&J store makes it worthwhile? They charge shipping and I'm not sure they will help you around the import duties. What's your experience?

Import duty is a hit or miss thing...
and make no mistake, shipping is not free, you have paid for it.
C&J charge for shipping, bodileys don't but thair price is a tad higher than C&J, shipping inclusive.

With C&J seemingly doing very well financially at the moment it wouldn't surprise me if they were trying to beat Tricker's for the POW's Royal Warrant.

Thanks for the info guys! I think I'l try and see what I can have done about a dainite sole before they ever ship stateside.

CTB- I saw quite a bit of your collection on that thread the other night, it inspired serious envy. But it was actually your pictures on this thread that made the Islays and the Skyes go from boots I wanted to boots I needed. My wife may have reason to hate you if I end up getting Skyes before even breaking in the Islays.

Cheers! I'll do a proper family pic (or set of pics) one day.

You'll love the Skye, by the way...

Old, embarrassing men oftentimes inspire young men to do things. Fantastic coat he's wearing, with a silly small-knotted tie....

Perhaps they need to send Beckham.

    /hate.
