Thanks again for you both for the tips. I am pretty ok with the last, which is 325. It is not perfect for me, but I can live with it. I only recently learned that I can (micro) adjust the fit with different lacing styles which is what I am investigating now. If it helps a bit, then all the better.

Regarding tongue pads etc. I tend to think that if one really needs them, then the last is simply a wrong one and one should look for other lasts.
That the last is not fitting then might be in issue. In my case the shoe size of UK 7.5 was simply to big, as I have to much volume in the forefoot with heavy creasing. Slimmer/narrower last fit my slim foot with a flat forefoot quite well.

Good luck with your lacing.

Best regards

try last 341 instead of 325.
it is suiting lower volume feet better and there are simular styles, for instance ashdown / grasmere or swansea / pembroke.

….it suits… is better English. Some people use verb “to be” as an auxiliary in the phrase “I am loving it” which personally I hate as it’s clumsy and originated in a pretentious way of speaking in the fashion industry.

Yeah, you are right. I tried 341 Hardwick in a C&J shop and it felt quite good. Also Lanark 378 felt good as well. However, I did not buy them yet - I will probably go next for Connaught 2 in 379, which fitted me really well.

Any suggestions (UK) for regular length socks that are thin and literally stick. And don't form creases or bulges in them? To wear with loafers or oxfords. So literally like a male socks version of leggings that women would wear. Where can one buy something?

Hi. Thanks. These seem ankle length socks. Looking for full/regular length ones

Pantherella also offers nice, over-the-calf socks. Alternatively, there are excellent Italian producers, like Bresciani, Sozzi, Ciocca, Palatino, Gammarelli, Gallo "Tailored". The French website Mes Chaussettes Rouges offers a nice selection, as well as Amidé Hadelin.

I second DG’s recommendation, not likely that one of these two won’t have what you need. And I believe Amide is an sf sponsor as well.
