For everyone that recommended Bodileys, THANK YOU!!! I ordered a pair of Shell Harvards and ran into minor issue. Sarah took care of it promptly and had a new pair shipped ASAP and arranged return. This is first class service. This was my first ever order from them and wont be my last! Thank you again to Sarah Dudleys attention to customer service! Bodileys is my go to for CJ from now on!

I should have added a special mention to one of the ladies working in the smaller C&J store on Jermyn St who is always helpful but particularly on this occasion running backwards and forwards (twice!) between the two shops so I could try on different sizes of both Boston and Harvard. Experiences like these are what makes in-person (as opposed online) shopping unbeatable sometimes.
Hello, can you elaborate about both loafers? I am interested on a pair of C&J loafers, thank you.

They’re the same except the Boston is lined and the Harvard is unlined.

As Jellyroller says they’re lined vs unlined versions of the same loafer.
Likely due to this the Boston felt slightly tighter than the suede Harvard 2 when I tried them on. The Harvard 2 felt like it would be very comfortable straight out of the box.

It was a tough call between the two and the chestnut Boston won over for me on the day, but still have a hankering for the Harvard 2 in snuff suede as a more casual option.

Thank you, I am pondering a pair of Harvard 2 in snuff suede for summer.

Hi, recently I bought my first pair of CJ boots - Chelsea 11 in Suede in size 9, and after wearing them few times I noticed that fit is not perfect. Don't get me wrong, they didn't fit bad but also not perfect, like 3.6.

I bought size 8.5 and also size 9 to test what fits better.
8.5.- They fit very well on first try, length and width were perfect. But after first step I noticed that my heel is pushing up in propulsive phase of step from a spot, and during contact phase is going back to correct place following with throbbing feeling because they were too snug (what I liked without walking).
9 - Fit was very comfortable, no sound or feel during walking on heel. Also no pushing heel from the spot during walking like I noiticed in size 8.5. But in size 9 I noticed that this bigger size is too roomy in toe box. On sides I feel that leather is not tight on my foot as I liked on 8.5 but I can live with that. More noticeable is length, where I feel that I have more room as it should be, I am able to push foot like 0.5 cm in front and still feel them very comfortable.

Can you tell me some owner of Chelsea 11 if he noticed something similar? Should be these boots really more roomy in toe box, or just I picket wrong size? If I picked wrong size what that moving heel in 8.5 meant? Is possible that these boots are just not built to my foot because of uncommon shape? Unfortunately I never had Chelsea boots before so I can't compare fit different boots.

And last question, can you tell me if exists some reliable test to check if my boots are big?
