Have any of you guys, or gals, ever bought from Upper Shoes? C&J doesn't really advertise their stockist like Viberg does so it's harder to gauge a retailers legitimacy.

Oh, and Harris has a little bit of wear on him.

As dress shoes, I have a few pairs on last 341 and one on last 236 (and some 325s for country shoes).
I wear all of them in 8UK.

I need to replace some of my dress shoes after 10 years of regular wearing.

348 last is a bit long and not ‘round’ enough for my liking.

What about 379 and 367?
I can’t try them on in person where I am located and need to import them, so I’m referring to some of you who I’m sure are familiar with them.

Can you comment on the fit differences between the 236 and 341 (mostly concerned with the toe box). I have a pair on the 236 and I am interested in the 341. I apologize that this doesn’t help with your original question.

I did. Unley is less tight in the instep (due to lower vamp ai imagine) and more fitted in the heel.
Do you find the Harvard and Boston generally too tight across the instep? Or are they tolerable?

Intolerably tight on the instep. In the end I narrowed it down to Unley and Cavendish 2. The Cavendish loafers were the most lenient on the instep, but Unley had a great heel fit so I went with that.

My experience is that 236 is a bit shorter than 341 but has more room in the toe box wrt. width. For wider feet, 236 can be somewhat more comfortable. However, I do take the same size with both lasts.

I share @shoeinvestor opinion. 236 is a bit shorter in the toebox and a little more voluminous in the toebox (visually it’s slightly more bulbous than almond shaped compared to the 341).
Despite this difference, I would still recommend taking the same size.

Has anyone got some comments on 379 and 367?

only tried the connaught on 379 - and recall it being quite nicely shaped / even with good arch support. The toe box is only ever slight narrowed.

367 is much better for me - especially in the heel (Albany) and the Kew fits really neatly compared with the moltons which is on 336 last.

Thanks,
What I’m not sure is whether 367 is indeed visually elongated, a bit pointy, like the 348 (unlike the 236, 341, and I believe the 379)
