Now it got ever more confusing than before for me.

I had a chance to try Conistons in Berlin and it felt better than my Snowdons on #228 that I own what I remember but it's 2 years back and it was only a try on in a store...

I am discussing a GMTO/MTO option with Alex on a black derby shoe on #375 as she recommended that last for me.
I might have similar type of feet. Mine are narrow with low instep and finding a good fitting shoes is difficult. 325 is an okay fit, but not perfect. In the C&J Brussels store I tried loads of different shoes and the 379 was the best out of all. Maybe you might consider that as well.

I have just received a pair of Chilterns and their fit is magnificent for my weird feet. Nothing else than Chilterns are on that 224 last however.

Hope this helps.

Btw, the Brussels store has very nice service. I recommend it to anyone visiting Brussels.

Do you have any experience with 375?

Nope. I recall talking about it with C&J customer care and they did recommend for me to give it a try as it is slightly narrower in the heel than 325 accordingly. There is not that many models in the 375 collection that really interest me, so I have not investigated that last further (Oh well, the Coniston 2 is stunning).

I was talking to C&J aswell and they recommended for my narrow feet #325, #375 and #363 as I asked for round more heritage, military oriented lasts. #363 feels too pointy for me and I would prefer to try #375 as it seems better than #325 for my feet.

I am waiting for a pricing and would like to present a GMTO derby shoe on #375 in C&J MTO thread. Would be happy if a lot of people join in!

For me it is shoes and jackets. Everything else I can handle, but not a day goes by without thinking of shoes or jackets.
Me too! I'm curently trying to decide which summer raincoat to get from Private White VC. By September, it will be winter coats and scotch grain boots/shoes again.

Gentlemen,

Alex got back to me with pricing on my proposed GMTO. Only 6 participants are needed to waive MTO fee!

Specs:
Model: Brompton
Leather: Black Wax Calf
Last: 375
Width: E (Standart)
Sole: Double leather
Sole edge: Black
Eyelets: Blind
Construction: GYW flat welt 270°

For a Group order, the price would be £625 inc-Vat.

Factory is willing to make an exception and accept 6 participants as a minimum for this order if the order is placed in the next couple of weeks.

Would be happy if you went to MTO thread and give it a thought! :)

It is the same pattern as Draycott. The difference is last.
This is Brompton on #325 in green shell:

I had no idea you could actually make a wholecut out of cordovan. Is there like, a size restriction here? Because the shell is only so big and that would have to be a gigantic piece of cordovan.

Wholecut cordovan isn't particularly rare, Carmina offers them up to size UK 14 which is a pretty big size.

The leather cut isn't really bigger than for your usual Alden or AE cordovan blucher
