Pretty conflicting info here. When I was looking for informations about this last in the thread I found out that people consider #228 wider than #325. And #375 is supposed to be narrower than #325 in every part except sharing same toe shape/space.

That is why I have asked. Hopefully more people give their opinions

IMO 375 fits very similar to 325 but with a narrower heel, which works well for me. I think most would agree that 228 fits wider than 325 but I take the same size in all three lasts. Granted, I have wide(ish) medium volume feet. Hard to tell if 375 will work for you, but it’s worth a try.

I find the 228 narrower than the 325 but the 375 very slightly narrower than the 325 - just to add to the confusion!

Keep in mind that the Aldershot is a boot, so that might effect it, but I am -extremely comfortable- with huge, American feet, in just a plain 11E (roughly equivalent to a 12D American) which I could never hope to fit into in any American brand.

Those are incredible! Where did you get them? MTO? 😊
Thank you!
Yes, I did a single special order (MTO) with C&J in 2017. You can do (almost) everything you want when going single MTO. Aside from the general MTO fee, I had to pay a little bit extra because the brogueing pattern did not yet exist for last 236 in the C&J archives - but now it does.

Now it got ever more confusing than before for me.

I had a chance to try Conistons in Berlin and it felt better than my Snowdons on #228 that I own what I remember but it's 2 years back and it was only a try on in a store...

I am discussing a GMTO/MTO option with Alex on a black derby shoe on #375 as she recommended that last for me.

Oh no, you are lost! You should not have done this. Now you need to find a lot of additional space to store all those shoes and boots to come.

What is it about good quality shoes? Why do so many of us buy way more boots and shoes than we can ever wear out? Shoes seem more addictive than crack cocaine! Its good for the shoe factories though ha ha!

My wife and her friends are unable to comprehend why I have so many pairs of brown boots.

Some of the questions coming my way after seeing my shoe rack:
- Do you wear all of them?
- How do you make a distinction for what to wear?
- Do you think you have a shoe problem?

For me it is shoes and jackets. Everything else I can handle, but not a day goes by without thinking of shoes or jackets.
