I'm gonna say I think Crockett and Jones over prices for cordovan, when you can find Aldens, which are comparable quality, for 400 less.In the context of $1250 US retail price for regular cordovan Harlechs, the $1450 for the Anniversary Coniston with lasted trees is about what's expected.

Honestly, part of the reason I'd buy Crockett and Jones over Aldens is that I think their calf skin is nicer. There isn't really that much difference in cordovan quality from what I've seen.
