Does anyone have the slate suede Coniston, slate suede Chelsea 11 scotch grain Chelsea 11? Looking to make another C&J purchase and very undecided. Have Coniston in tan, dark brown and rough-out, and have the Chelsea 5 in dark brown and black. Thanks!

That's what I thought too, but it looks lighter than the dark brown C&J currently offers. Anyone know if they used to make it in a lighter brown?

I think roughout will get lighter with time unless one retreats it with more wax.

Older roughout was lighter but age and lighting matter too.

Yes, roughout Islays. They’re from Barney’s so quite a while ago. I think they were a seasonal model.
