My questions are: I've read some say Audley are very long, but maybe thats not as big an issue if you're tall like me? (Belgrave coming across as slightly smaller?) and then differences between 348 and 337 and if Belgrave or Audley is worth the step up in price. I will be able to try out the shoes in person.

Both the Audley and Belgrave are Handgrade, on the 337 last. The Hallam is Benchgrade, on the 348 last.

The 348 last is a bit "pointier", or more chiselled, than the 337 last and so - to me, at least - the 348 last looks a bit longer and pointier.

The 337 last fits me very well - one of the best-fitting off-the-shelf lasts I have found for my feet - and so that is my personal preference. Definitely try each of them on if, as you say, you have the opportunity to do so. It could be worth trying both your usual size and going up half-a-size, too, to get a feel for how it fits in length and width.

To me, the 348 is quite a bit pointier and narrow. While 337 fits me very well, I can't find a good fit in the 348. I'm always a bit surprised about how people can fit well into the two.

The UK stores reopened today so I caught the train and collected my special order Weymouth 2.
They're black cordovan on city soles and a 332 last. My feet are naturally not a slim elegant shape so these look slightly chunkier than the standard Weymouth 2 but the fit is sublime.

Lockdown in the UK is over so I thought I deserved to treat myself to this dark brown pair of Cavendish loafers. ?

Nice to be back on Jermyn Street.

The colour on the website seems darker than in real life. I initially wanted to go for a dark brown suede but that had a greenish tint so put me off a bit.

Couldn't take those home because I'm having toe taps installed. Can't wait to take them home and give them a good polish.

Does anyone know how the C&J 325 last compare to the Edward Green 184?
