Hi everyone, does anyone know if the full strap loafers are in fact made by Crockett & Jones for BB? I havent seen many members with them, just bought a pair but unable to pick them up due to closed borders. Also completely not sure about last and sizing, please if anyone has experience, do share.

Made by Alden... they are on Aberdeen go TTS but down one width is what works for me to negate heel slip.

I've seen folks advertise made in UK full strap loafers as C&J made on 72 last. I believe loafers on dainite are made by AS.

NIB Brooks Brothers Peal & Co full strap penny loafers 11D--PRICE DROP

New in box Brooks Bros loafers in 11D. The color is chestnut burnished calf and the approximate retail was $650 when I bought these last year. I believe these are made by Crockett and Jones. They have been tried on but never worn. Asking $350 $325 $300 shipped in the US. Please PM.

Not sure, but I have a BNIB pair of black suede Monktons for sale there, for the steal-of-a-price of $230 + shipping.

One question: how can I be sure that these Peal and Co are C&J? I know a couple other shoemakers, Alfred Sargent for one, has made models under this name in the past.

Good luck getting them, hope your luck is better than mine these last couple weeks. Ordered these exact shoes in two different sizes, knowing I could return or flip that one that didn't fit well. Got an order cancellation on both. Same thing with two more C&J/Peal shoes three days later in seperate orders. After calling BB customer service, they're simply fumbling about hoping they have these sitting somewhere, in some store, but often finding they don't and cancelling your order. Great business practice

AS is Alfred Sargent.

I'm not sure about 72 last. IIRC, in the past C&J would list private label lasts (such as 240) on their website, but I don't see them listed any longer.

Alfred Sargent. Another very well respected Northhampton bootmaker. BB Peal line has used both companies in the past. They're both great quality, I have a pair of Peal AS chukkas and the Peal CJ shell boots and love them both
