Bonus pic... The Coniston before the dye
I was going to wear my Whiskey Harlech's today, but I just didn't have the courage to put them through the snow (even though they would be fine). Shoe frustrations.
But my Galway 2's got me to my office. Dainite gets a lot of snubs on this forum, when compared to double leather. While I can see the virtues of double leather, if you walk in conditions with snow, ice, or gravel, Dainite works well.
Looking at @MSAINTS collection makes me want a light brown Coniston too.

Thank you so much for the nice comments. Yes, I don't understand why they discontinued them either. They were my first 'first' C&J (I purchased a 'second' Lonsdale in black). Worn these while shopping for other shoes in Madrid and Paris. I also wear them when I travel a lot. I feel bad because I keep counting down until when I'll have to resole them and then their eventual demise, which I hope is many many years from now...Every time I see these I wish they hadn’t discontinued them. I wasn’t aware of this model until after the discontinuation.
Such a nice boot.
Definitely recommend the tan Coniston. Or any of the colours for that matter.
I’m not normally into black boots but I love @MSAINT’s black Conistons.

In honor of MSAINT's newly modified green Conistons, I wore my jealousy inducing green roughout suede pair.

@MSAINT's dedication to the Coniston's is highly admirable
