@up1911fan That picture makes me excited to for this GMTO. The one think I was not very fond of on the very first GMTO was the natural welt and the edging..

Crockett & Jones' E width is their standard width. I'm not sure if the Coniston comes in an F or G fitting.

It may have been MTO, but not for me - it was a sale item from the end of the summer season last summer.

Took this photo today of these old GMTOs. Whiskey Harlech with Dainite.

@Andrew Carkhuff many thanks! the GMTOs here on SF can be quite an ordeal to bring home, but certainly very rewarding in the end.

The moment I decided to buy my first pair of Crockett & Jones and a few months later at the office!

Very nice! Hope your enjoying them. Was the break in easy enough?

Surprisingly easy and I absolutely love them! I find grain leather easier to break in to be fair, but I noticed that all shoes from CJ are much softer compared to Loake and Barker.

I am now planning to buy a summer pair, very likely the Sydney in snuff suede, but I wanted to wait for the new collection before buying anything.

Does anyone know when is it going to be presented? When I asked in store they said a very generic March/April...

I agree with that, I had some Barker that never seemed to break in. Loake tend to be quite stiff too by comparison.

No idea regarding the new collection..
