Interesting comparison. How do the instep and overall volume compare?

Volume felt similar to me -- which was surprising given how much bigger the Viberg looks. It is definitely a more massive shoe which you can feel when you walk. Regarding instep; I find it hard to answer that as I'm not really sure how to judge high vs low.

Thanks for that. I have a low instep. With high instep boots I need to lace them with the lacestays pulled together, and/or I find my foot can slide forward in the boot.

I believe general guidance would be that you need 9.5 in Viberg 2030. Could explain why you felt very snug in size 9.

Viberg is constructed to be casual and it shows in your picture. Great comparison..

    Interesting makeup. Was it MTO?

Thanks for the feedback @nishant. @Paul902 you can see that there is only a small gap between the lacestays -- I could probably wear an 8.5UK with thinner socks. In contrast the lacestays on the Viberg are really widely separated which I think is intended to be part of the look.

If anyone is interested in a Brown Shell Cordovan Dundee ( medallion cap toe boot) we have 11 confirmed in the MTO thread. Pernilla already reached out to us, but we had one drop at the last minute. This MTO is ready to go, just need one more!

Here's a picture of a similar one with the main difference being that the current MTO is with antique edging:

Looking to buy a pair of Coniston Boots, Dark Brown.

    My USA Brannock is 10.5E

I wear Allen Edmonds Higgins Mill 10E

    I am thinking I will need a 9.5 UK?
Also I am worried that I hear UK E width is narrower than USA E width?
Will the Boot be too narrow for me, since it is available in UK E?

    Thank you for the help

Not my pic, borrowed from another member, but what the boots will look like.
