Right, I was thinking along the lines of the boot being more spacious than the oxford making half a size up in the oxford feasible.

You probably have a point though. I might hold out as there’s no rush whatsoever.

Reiver, what size are you on the Aldwych? If you’re a 10.5 on those too I’d follow the previous advice and pass on the Connaught. Howeve if you’re an 11 on the Aldwych it might be worth trying the Connaught (if you can get free delivery).

However as Nikola has said, its a bold colour. Personally the chestnut burnished calf is one of my favourites (I have the Finsbury) it goes well with some of my navy suits and trousers, but they are quite striking. If you want something a bit more subtle (& given the Connaught is quite a conservative last) burnished chestnut might be best avoided

Just a quick online payment alert about morsepoint's site, hope you guys all used paypal, I didn't see this option at first so I put my visa info in, didn't go through then I found paypal and placed the order.
Today I had three fraud transactions made online, all in America, Chase blocked them and deactivated my card.
That was the only time I used the card for online payment, so I'm pretty certain.
Well guys, always go with paypal if possible!

I don't know if Chase does this, but Citi allows me to generate a virtual account number for online transactions, so if that number is compromised it's only that number and not my real card number, though my other information is up for grabs.

Sorry you had to go through that man.
I looked at that website for about a month over the holidays, before I decided it was not a risk I was willing to take. So, I passed on all those great prices....glad I did

It's alright now Chase is taking care of it, thought people should be aware.
Nothing wrong with the site I hope, maybe just international online transactions are easy targets.

Thanks so much for your post! I also purchased from Morsepoint without using Paypal and, prompted by your post, I've just checked my credit card account and found a whole host of fraudulent activity from the last 24-48 hours. I've reported it to the credit card company.

It could of course be a coincidence but I'm going to inform Morsepoint anyway.

I'm in the UK so if the source of the problem is Morsepoint's website, it isn't just with international purchases.

Glad it helped, hope your account is well protected.
We surely need to flag this to Morsepoint now, matter of fact, my first bank card attempt was not even through, got rejected by my bank right away! But still...

    Hey @IsoE and @JKSR116 ,
I am on the same boat as you guys. I have been dealing with the same shit about fraudulent transactions with the card that i used on Morsepoint. I have called them and we have been emailing back and forth, Morsepoint told me that it should be my computer that got hacked, and i told them that those comments are just B.S., since i did it from my phone. They said that they do not store any card info and that WorldPay performs the transaction entirely on their end.

On top of that, the boot shipment to my address is lost in thin air and they told me that Royal Mail told them that i had to wait another 2 weeks before raising a red flag because it is an international shipment to the U.S.

I marked Morsepoint as a possible litigation case with my credit card company, I mentioned to my ccard company that Morsepoint might have a leak, or WorldPay might have been hacked again in similar way they were back in November, or someone is flat out stealing card info on either of those two places. Please, call Morsepoint, or send them an email.

For all those folks who bought from Morsepoint, please check recent transactions and be on the lookout. I would recommend canceling the credit card that you used and get a replacement.
