    Hi everyone.

I’m considering purchasing a size 8.5 Crockett & Jones boot. I’m usually a size 8, but the 8.5 purchase is a good deal.

Has anyone got any experience in having .5 size big with C&J? Are there any good insoles that can make these fit better?

For reference, I have a size 7.5 Islay, 8 Coniston, 8 Chelsea 5, 8 Pembroke tan & dark. All fit fine. I understand 8.5 is pushing it.

    Thanks for the help!

It's not a good deal if you don't wear them because they don't fit.

Now I understand why CJ is not selling online directly.

Brecon day today. These were my first purchase into the C&J family over 2 years ago. It's been a slippery slope from there onwards.

Well I decided to keep the boots and went all in with a couple of coats of Saphir Invulner waterproofing spray. They darkened slightly so the dark spot it far less obvious. I' looking forward to building some patina on my first rough-outs!

It’s not common but I know they had a four day sale last September. Not sure how much the discounts were, because I actually missed the sale...
Oh, and the sale was in the physical store only, not online.

I did in size 7.5 to find out my correct size, but it was too small so returned it and kept the green one in size 8.

Sorry if this has been answered many times already, but other than the C&J website, are there any recommended websites from which to order C&J shoes?
