The 224 does not feel as full as my 325s in the same size.

Thanks. My biggest concern is the forefoot as I read the 224 runs shorter. I sized up to UK7.5E in the 341 (Brecon Chukka) because UK7E was tight in the vamp and forefoot.

I have been looking at suede chukka boots recently. The Chiltern in snuff has that classic desert boot look.

Yes, though, I find the snuff colour a bit too loud sometime, during the late Autumn/dry winter days .. Wish they fit me same as my Church's Ryder 3 - best fitting shoe of all time for me.

Your Ryder is on the crepe sole? Would you recommend it?

Wouldn't like to distract the thread, but to answer your question - no, they are on the regular Dainite soles and Castoro suede. I photographed them for the SF Church's thread a while back. It's the "James Bond Quantum of Solace" makeup ..

I actually wanted to buy another pair of Ryders in different colour (similar to CJ Snuff suede), but was distracted by the comments here, so I went with Chilterns. I believe I made the good decision, though I just wish they fit a bit better for my feet.

Never liked the Crepe soles myself as they ruins the look - feels like walking on the dirty foam soles ..

When that GMTO was forming I remember thinking I don't need another pair of whiskey C&J.
    I was wrong.

:satisfied: lol... I resemble that remark. Had the same experience after seeing shoes from the GMTO previous to this one.
