Thanks I appreciate you sharing your opinion. So can I assume that the leather quality is similar across all three models?

Beautiful! I am wondering about buying them, how do you rate the quality of leather? I would love to see more photos.

The C&J Instagram photos are really accurate and nice, here is 3 for Hardwick in Snuff Suede.

I am surprised. The creater - of what is arguebly one of the best, if not the best thread on the internet regarding cap toe oxford - is wearing those.

My initial thought is that the stitching at the toe box ruins the shoe and makes them look awkward and odd. But since the oxford don is wearing them, i am starting to wonder if i am mistaken here :)

If it means anything, I think those shoes look horrendous. My initial reaction was as follows: hor-rend-ous.

I wear a lot of different shoes, and these split toe derby on rubber City sole is a very good alternative if you can't justify the price of the suede EG Dover.

Anyone have the Chiltern on the 224 last? I’m looking for sizing advice. I’m a 7E on the 325, 335 and 365 and 7.5E on the 341 lasts. I’m also a US8D on the Alden Barrie last. I’m guessing 7E but C&J mailorder suggested 7.5E. Thanks.

I have the Chilterns in snuff suede, and even though they are one of the most complimented pairs that I own, they are the worst fitting style for my feet for some reason. The heel always feel loose, and the fit in the middle is quite tight and tiring for the foot. I wear them in my regular size 9 and E width (UK metric). The other styles in 314, 236, 325, 365 all fit me great in the same size, but not this pair in 224.

Thanks. 325 fits me best with 335 being the sloppiest but that could be due to cordovan.
