Looking for some ideas on a navy quilted jacket for the fall season here in NYC. Any ideas? Barbour has some nice styles but hard to find a nice slim fitting one. I have read past posts that have called Dunhill overpriced.

    Matt Fulham from Barbour
    NYC store doesn't carry XS

Let me know if you guys have any suggestions. Thanks.

H&M has several models out right now, in both a four pocket field jacket style as well as a two pocket style similar to the Barbour Liddesdale. They fit slimmer than the Barbour and are less than $80.

This is a shoulder season jacket, so don't blow the bank.

Thanks, a search for the RL Kempton had me stumble upon this:

Really liking it but it might be on the short side.

    Yep.
Does it fit like in the pic? Based on the for sale pics on here, I would have thought it would be a lot looser in real life. And how warm is it? I know they used to sell it at Barneys but I don't think I've seen it sold elsewhere.

    Pretty much.

It's reasonably warm. I use it as a fall jacket rather than a winter one.

Price, fit, style better than Barbour. Length better than RL. Lightweight - perfect over a suit for a NY commute down to 32. Not as nice as Trini's Boggi but you can't have everything. Delivery time is 4-6 weeks, IIRC.

I'm assuming you can't have these altered given that they're quilted, correct?
