I'm actually surprised at the responses here, but I'll confess - I rather like it.

I might wear something like a steel grey shirt to go with it, with black pants and a matching sport coat.

But that's just me!

the play between the initial impression of the pattern and how it looks upon further inspection is what did it for me.

sort zodiac constellations blending into big game carnage..."oooooh pretty" then "oh no!, bambi!"

however, it is kinda schtick or hokey joke like vineyard vines, the "hey i'm too lazy/marsupialed to coordinate my tie, so i go with the cartoon-print pastel cop-out"
