Quick Question on Stowa Shipping

I have a quick question about shipping options for Stowa watches. I'm hoping that someone that has ordered a watch from them can fill me in on this.

I see the shipping options for on stowa.com are 2 fold:

1. FedEx for 39 euros

2. "Registered letter" for 6 euros

What is this second option for 6 euros? Is this a legit shipping option or just some type of insurance add on to the 39 euro FedEx charge?

Registered letter sounds like the local postal service option with tracking.

Yes but don't quote me on this. I'm just going off of the general definition of 'registered mail'.

Okay, I looked more closely and it says

"registered letter up to invoices amount max 100 Euro"

so "letter" means "mail" (German translation mistake?) and you can only select this option with orders of less than 100 Euros worth of merchandise. I assume.

You can only use the registered letter for little things like straps. I just ordered a couple.
