Quick question about Chan's

For those who have had suits/jackets made by Chan, has the sewing on the coat sleeve buttons been sewn all the way through so that it is visible when you look on the inside of the sleeve?
I would have assumed that they would be sewn in & the lining placed over it to hide the thread/knot on the inside (does this make sense at all?).

On my OTR suits it's been done like this (lining hides the sewing of buttons) as well as when i've taken them to a decent tailor, however a cheaper tailor i've used has done the same job and sewn right through the lining as well. I would have thought a place as reputable as Chan's, and i'm not having a go at them as i'm very happy with how my first suit came out, would have done it (in my eyes) properly? Or is this normal practice (for them or in general)?

Never gave the matter any thought. Just checked the jacket I'm wearing, my blue herringbone Shetland tweed, and the sleeve buttons are sewn through the lining. Perhaps I should look over my other Chan jackets when I get home to see if that's the case on all of them.

It could be their default treatment. All of my Chan jackets, which were accumulated over the past two years, have the buttons sewn on through the lining.
