This isnt a guaranteed fix but if you hang them from the cuffs in your bathroom and turn the shower on really hot ( or just leave them hanging in there when you shower) the steam should help smooth your pants out somewhat.

Get a portable steamer, works like a charm.

If you have a iron, cover the slacks with a piece of cotton cloth and iron over the wrinkles.

My suggestion is, rather than a "quick fix", to invest in a good steamer. I steam my clothes (trousers, sport and suit jackets) before I hang them up. A good steamer will pay for itself in no time!

Can anyone recommend good models for either steamers or portable steamers?

I like the portable idea...

Steamer will remove wrinkles and maybe even the crease. If you steam you need to press as well. Trousers look bad when they are wrinkled but even worse when the crease is gone.

I just started to write an explanation of a quick way to press the wrinkles out but it became too complicated and I stopped.

Iron them with a pressing cloth? Works for me.

Quick Fix..aprox 12 hours.....Put pants as straight as possible between your matress and that should work pretty nice...belive it or not.

That's the old, "I go before the judge tomorrow" trick

Consider a Jiffy E-Steam. I got a new one on ebay for $49 and free shipping (direct from the company). A very stout handheld steamer. There are others, but the E-Steam gets a lot of love around here. Do a search for steamers.

+1 heats up rather quickly and works well.

I steam it over my thinest, cheapset dress shirt.
The the hot surface of the iron won't touch the wool directly and the heat and steam will take out the wrinkle, no shine on the wool after ironing in such manner.
