I've yet to purchase anything from Topman and was wondering how SF generally feels about their fit and quality.

I got the granddad henley on sale, which was really the only thing on the site I liked stylistically. It fits a little wonky on me, but hopefully the fit will improve after a wash.

looking at it, the quality seems kind of sketchy. A large majority of the goods seem slightly overpriced if it was a rough equivalent of a UK version of Old Navy/Gap.

Some of the cardigans and hoodies seemed pretty alright, other than that I can't say anything was spectacular.

Topman is having quite a big mid season sale. I didn't buy anything but if I were to choose to buy something from similar high street stores, I would prefer Burton.

I'd say Topman is very similar quality to H&M but maybe catering to more of a teenage market - lots of stuff in XXS.

Very poor fit unless you are malnourished and lanky. Poor materials and quality - you can feel the cheapness.

After coming out of the laundry, my Topman henley fits a little better-- the sleeves aren't so ridiculously long, for one thing. But it's still pulling weirdly all over. The sleeves are cut in such a way that the outer seams of both arms twist so they end up at the center of my palms... very annoying!

Topman is a cheap hipster H&M.

Next is the poor mans Debenhams, but has some good stuff.

haha. In the past Next has had an occasional decent item. This year has been resoundingly shocking though!

i'm only reiterating this sentiment but as a poor yet wannabe fashion-conscious student i love topman for the price and the style. The h & m element is there if a little better imo. The sneakers are a great buy as an alternate to vans and chucks.
