I like a small collar and 2 pockets, I dont like the squared off bottom like the EH shirt

If we're getting technical, then actually you're wrong. Black is the absence of light, but the presence of all colors when referring to pigment. Light color and pigment color are two separate things.

black coloured fabric will absorb all the light which hits it and reflect none.
