Question: Where can I find interesting Bemberg lining for a custom suit??

I visited a men's shop in the area on a referral from a co-worker who buys a lot of her fiance's clothing from this shop (Hassis Men's Shop, Newtown Square, PA). The reason for my visit was to find a great suit and to get measured for said custom suit for my wedding next September. I went with a great fabric by H. Freeman from their Spring 2011 collection. Before finalizing my order, however, I wanted to find out where I could find some fun/interesting Bemberg fabrics for the lining of the coat and the back of the vest (this will be a 3-piece suit). H.Freeman has a great colored Bemberg lining (color: Smoky Blue) that matched the suit fabric, but is simple and I would like to find something with a nice pattern. I haven't had a suit made before, and since this will be for my wedding, I'd like to have the end result be something very special. If anyone has any information for fabric retailers, etc that have a nice selection of Bemberg fabrics, I would be interested in hearing about them. Ideally, someone in the greater Philadelphia region would be great, but I would be willing to look in the Northern NJ/New York market. Any help is appreciated!!

If it's helpful, the suit fabric I chose was H. Freeman (range 941, lot# 210113, hairline windowpane, 100% super 100's wool)

Thanks!!

Kinkus fabrics in south fourth st.

i posted this some time ago

A few people have asked for custom tailors in the Philadelphia area.
Here are two that are both off of the radar.

don't go asking if the suit is bespoke or MTM. these guys have both been doing this before you were born.
both make full canvas. lots of hand work. and don't ask for a neopolitan shoulder either.
both should have good deals on fabric in stock.
call for prices on your own. please mention my name when you call.

i don't think he knows what email is.

one of my customers has been going to him for 20 years. the customer always looks sharp.

I hope some one tries them and posts their opinions.

Thanks for the replies. If all else fails, i may check out the nordstrom in baltimore.

Shirtmaven - thanks for the input. checked out kinkus fabrics.....no luck. also tried fleischman's on 5th and passyunk. again, no luck. I may just have to settle on the lining offered at Hassis.

Still on the hunt.

Panzeraxe - thanks for the response. Are the pics attached to that thread an example of what you have, or is that your entire inventory? I can get a picture of the fabric i am using for the suit posted here and you can let me know if you have anything that you think may work.

Also, noticed in a few of the photos Dugdale Bros and saw that they have a site. Can I order directly from their site, or do I need to be a retailer?

Thanks
