Question regarding purchasing from the UK to the USA

Hi everyone,

I recently moved to the USA from the UK, and I am looking to purchase some Crockett & Jones from the UK.

Say that the price of the shoes that I want to purchase in the UK is £316.67 excluding VAT, how much will I pay in duties and customs for them to be delivered in the USA?

I have had a look online for duties calculators but I'm not sure if +-$60 is a reliable figure?

Nothing. At this moment every purchase someone in the US does outside of the US below 800$ Is not charged with Vat/duties

It might be worth checking out the C &J shop in New York:

I have no idea what the price differential might be. If there is any.
Great shoes that unfortunately do not fit me.

Price will be considerably higher buying from nyc C&J shop vs ordering from UK.

As noted above,no import charge for under $800 shipment but rate for shoes is around 8.5% last I checked.

Also check Pediwear.

They actually have two shops in NYC now. And if you live out of state may be able to get with no sales tax.... I'm not exactly sure how they did it but they did lol.
