Question Regarding Brooks Brothers Return Policy

I ordered a Brooks Brothers Trench Coat in 46R online about 5 months ago in anticipation of colder/wetter weather this fall/winter. I've lost some weight and now it's too big. It still has the tags on it and I may be able to find the reciept. Can I still send it back for a refund without a hassle or should I just put it up on the B&S?

Thanks.

My experience with BB is that they take anything back at any time. I brought back a pair of shoes that I decided I just didn't like as much once I tried them on with other pants and the guy didn't even open the box to look at them, he just processed my refund. A coat with the tags on it is a no brainer. Do look for the receipt though, because if it has gone on sale, they might just honor the sale price.

If you have the receipt, it is practically unlimited.

This has been my impression, too. I'd try to find the receipt though.

I'm sure if you have the reciept, they will honor it anytime. That is their policy. Otherwise they will store credit the price tag minus 25%. (25% is what they consider as sale price)

I bought a pair of gabs in January and two sport shirts, and never got the chance to wear them. They sat in the closet, with tags on. Since I bought them, I've lost 65lbs. This past weekend I asked my long time sales associate about it and she said bring them in. I exchanged it for some of their boxers, a white dress shirt and a new belt and only laid out $5!!!!!

I dont think you will have much of an issue

I have about 14 unworn BB shirts bought over the last two-three years which still are folded with price tags, some still in the plastic...I actually have a few others which I've worn and discovered they are tents, something I didn't notice in the store - mea cupla.

I'd like to return the 14 unworn ones but am not sure if I can find all the receipts...the price tags total about $1200. BB's web site states they'll only give back $200 max in cash, and anyway, they seem to offer refund to the original purchase method (so Credit card in those cases?)...or maybe give me a store credit with out the receipts (I'd sure prefer the cash or refund to my MC - I want to get some custom shrts made)

do you guys feel there is a good chance they will these all back at the same time?

If you charged it and cannot find the receipts, you should be able to go to your online account and find and print a copy of the transaction.
