i'm looking to shorten the sleeves on a nylon jacket. there are zippers by the cuffs, however. is this possible? i have never had nylon tailored, and it seems strange because it's synthetic. anyone have any experience with this? here's the jacket:

A competent tailor would have no problem shortening the sleeves. The zipper placket would simply be moved up the sleeve.

It might also be possible to remove the sleeves at the shoulder and shorten them there. Either way, someone should be able to do that for you.
