http://cgi.ebay.com/ws....hosting Look on the fourth close-up picture to see the suit's sleeve label. Has anyone else heard of the label, "Facis"? I understand it to be a line of clothing produced by South Korea's LG Fashion, but from what I can tell on the homepage (www.facis.co.kr) it appears it has some sort of Italian roots. Can anyone shed some light on this? Adding to the confusion, LG Fashion also seems to include Daks among its subsects. I thought it was a UK company. It probably is; I just find this situation very odd. Maybe South Korean laws are such that it takes a large domestic corporation to sponsor foreign brands, to get around the huge duties: just pure speculation on my part. One thing is certain: I highly doubt this suit would sell for $1495. But then again, this is eBay we're talking about.

Alias,

I don't know Facis, but Daks (from "Dad's slacks") is most definitely a British brand. The company dates from 1894, but its real claim to fame was its invention of the "self supporting waisband" in the 1930s. Its design team is still all British and it still holds three royal warrants. Their main shop is on 10, Bond Street.
