A question for any SF members who know about Boston...

A friend of mine is relocating to Boston, MA. One thing he can't figure out is whether washer and dryers inside the apartment are standard. If so, which price-points, type of buildings etc? The idea of having to use one of those communal coin-operated ones in the basement etc., freak him out.

Oh, and any other advice on relocating to Boston would be most welcome. He'll be working in the building on 125 High Street.

washer/dryer in unit is definitely not the standard in boston. to find a place in boston you pretty much have to go through a broker so just tell him to search CL and call up a few.
