Question on AA shirts

So I've gotten American Apparel hoodies (size M fit well) and was wondering what size shirts I should go for. I'm assuming a small, but am not quite sure. This is what I'm looking at right now in case you're wondering. Edit: I would say I'm a 37" chest, which puts me square between S and M...so I'm leaning S, but I know AA tends to run pretty slim.

I'm about 5'9, 150lbs. My suit size is between a 36R to 38R. I'm an M in AA hoodies, and t-shirts. They fit perfectly, not too tight, not too loose. I would assume I'm an M other AA products. If you're about my size, probably get an M.

im about that size and just tried my first AA tshirt - in a small. very tight after washing/drying in most areas. i would say unless you plan on line drying the shirts, go with M (which after shrinking may be quite nice). if you arent going to machine dry, the S is probably best.

Also note that this shirt you posted is a blend. It should shrink less than the regular jersey cotton shirts. I'm not personally familiar with the shrinking on the blend shirts myself and can only offer my advice on the regular 100% cotton tees, which is to size up 1.

There is no good way to tell what size AA shirts you should get because they all differ, even in the same cut & color. AA quality control = ****.

This is true in the extreme. Thankfully for me I have been lucky but not all of my AA tees fit exactly the same and if I wasn't paying wholesale for them I can assure you I would not be buying them at all, as they are extremely overpriced for the quality.
