Question on a thrift store find: Saint Laurent Menswear Robinson's Blazer?

I'm new to this forum and am just getting into classic menswear so I'm a complete newbie in my 20s. Today I went thrift store rummaging -- I was actually on the lookout for dress shirts to tailor for a slimmer fit-- when I came across something I found interesting. I live in a pretty barren area with not much going on other than strip malls so I wasn't expecting finding much. Going through the blazers, I noticed a tag that read "Made in France" when I had seen nothing but made in Asia so I pulled it out and give it a look. It was light, fitted me perfectly and had an interesting silhouette -- clearly, this is an older item but was really slim fitted in the waist -- and only about $20. I was really surprised to see a "Yes Saint Laurent" label on closer inspection. Here is where I'm soliciting help. The label is "Saint Laurent Menswear Robinson's". I did so googling and I think it might be from when the designer Bill Robinson's tenure at Saint Laurent in the 70s but I honestly have no idea. I bought the blazer and was hoping someone on this forum could give me more info on it. I have a degree in American history so I love context.

I finally found an answer to my question after doing a little more searching. Apparently this issue came up a long while back on this forum:

Oddly enough I'm not even bummed that this is a licensed piece. I find the history of the piece interesting. Reminds of the time I was in Vietnam and for whatever reason bought clearly bootlegged books from authors I liked and then later presented it to them at book signings for them to sign.
