Is it possible for worsted wool to have a twill texture? Maybe I'm confusing between two terms belonging to two entirely different categories but I just got a jacket that was supposed to be worsted wool and it is twill.

    From Fairchild's Dictionary of textiles:

"Applied to fabric woven from yarn that has been spun from combed wool. Some examples of fabric traditionally made from worsted yarns are: GABARDINE, 1., SERGE, TROPICAL WORSTED."

Gabardine is a twill weave, so yes.
