Question about Piombo and Yoox

Hello,

I am considering a jacket from Piombo that I found on Yoox. First, I need to know if Piombo comes with pre-opened cuffs. The reason is that I am broad shouldered, and this I need to shorten arms quite a bit. Working cuffs prevents that. Second, is anyone familiar with the fit? Is it fairly standard for italian sizes?

Lastly, I have never ordered from Yoox but found their return policy a tid bit confusing. My understanding is that you are refunded the cost of the item, and that they pay for shipping back to Yoox. Thus, the only cost would be the cost of shipping from yoox to me. Am I correct?

The Piombo I ordered was quite tight. It did not have working or fake buttonholes, which makes sleeve adjustment easy. I have had good luck returning things to YOOX. When the goods were damaged or not as pictured, they refunded the shipping.

I have 5 or 6 Piombo jackets. No working cuffs on any of them. Pretty slim, as Boglioli, but not as slim as Tonello. The ones in cotton a bit slimmer fit than the ones in wool. No need to size up for me. I can't comment on the return cost, since for me it's more costly (Italy to Switzerland).

Funny, I just got two Piombo suits in today from Yoox and one has working buttonholes (a soft and casual summer suit) and the other doesn't (more of a formal business suit).

I bought a winter-weight double breasted Piombo blazer from Yoox a year or so ago, size 48/38. It came with cheap plastic buttons that I swapped for some real-deal French made horn buttons. It is one of my favorite pieces and I wish it was three season weight so I could wear it more often. As far as sizing is concerned, I have suits and odd jackets in both 36 and 38. The only other double breasted jacket I own is a Greenfield made Golden Fleece, and that is a 36. I had the waist taken in quite a bit on the Piombo, but the shoulders fit spot on. For me, the fit is very close to RLBL and Caruso's Sartoria Parma.
