The other day I walked into Saks and found a 38R Kiton cashmere suit on sale. I never find my size on sale but lucked out this time.

I tried it on in the store but didn't notice until I got home that something seems kind of funny in the shoulder area. I'm not great with terminology but I'll try to explain it as best as I can. From my vantage point it looks like the "puckering" around the arm hole shoulder area is not equal on both sides. When I look in the mirror one side has a nice rounded off form where as the other side doesn't.

Do you guys think this is a manufacturing flaw or is it because the suit needs to be pressed?

Thanks in advance.

Needs pics, but does sound like it just needs to be pressed. If that doesn't work, consider the possibility that your shoulders are actually uneven. In that case, it would behoove you to invest in a bone file and even them out.

My camera is unfortunately with my wife right now but I'll see if I can get some pics by tomorrow. I would love to know what a "bone file" is.
This is my first Kiton suit and there are certain things I am not familiar with. There seems to be long pieces of black thread (2") coming out of random areas. Definitely not your typical basting that you see around shoulder and cuff areas. Perhaps this is normal, just something I have never seen before.

Long piece of black thread is probably the chest canvass piece coming thru the fabric.
