If I wear derby or brogue UK7, which size should I buy if I want to wear as slip-on? Wouldn't it be better buy UK8? or UK7.5?

I wear the same size. I tried sizing down a half size on my Crickett and Jones monks and had to sell them on Ebay.

Usually same size. If anything, half size down.
