Question about Jodhpur boots

Hello, I have some questions regarding leather jodhpur boots (with dainite/rubber soles).

I'm seriously considering buying leather jodhpur and chelsea boots (from Meermin) for the ease of polishing+ great versatility + better weather protection. You may answer based on experiences outside of Meermin as well.

Specifically, I'm looking at these jodhpurs:
https://www.meermin.es/in_en/10149911130000he-13-101499-copper-antique-calf-e-cobre.html

Note:
- I use shoe/boot trees (ceddar)
- I plan to wear the same boots every 2nd day in alternation
- I maintain/polish my shoes often and meticulously (clean/cream/wax from Saphir)
- Please specify how old your boots are and how often you've worn them

Questions:

1. Are the top parts of the upper unlined and or quite soft? I'm worried from several photos that they will crease very easily. I'm aware all leather shoes crease, I just prefer boots that'll crease less.

2. Do jodhpurs crease more in general than chelseas? (Given I use boots trees)

3. What happens if the strap wears out/significantly weakens due to the buckle (like a normal leather belt wears out)? Is it easy and affordable to get it fixed/newly sowed on?

4. Doesn't the boot look far less aesthetic when the straps become quite worn out?

5. Are jodhpurs easy to polish? Do the straps make it much more difficult/time consuming? (Applying cream and wax)

6. Don't you get colour cream/wax residue on your hands everytime you touch the straps to put your boots on?

7. What are aspects that make either boot more practical over the other?

Same as any other pair. My strap on carlos santos is as new. I would definitely buy them again. Mine are soft and they dont crease. I dont care for my uppers very much, However I spend a lot of time mirror shining toes.

Thanks for your response! How old are your boots and how often have you worn them?

I have a pretty big collection (10 pairs) (really small if I compare to the other styleforumers):p
I wear them once or max twice a week.

Wow...! That's a lot compared to me at least haha!
I plan to wear my future pair generally every 2nd day. I wonder how much more yours would have creased if it was worn as often as that..!
