Question about issue with an MTM shirt

I recently bought a few shirts from DeoVeritas (my second order from them) and, upon opening the package, noticed that the collars of the shirts had an odd pattern of dimples on them. The dimples did not go away after one wash. Here's a picture of the collar of one of the shirts, after I washed and ironed it.

I reached out to DeoVeritas and they said this is a result of their fusing process for the collar and that it would go away after a couple of washes. I've not had that happen with any of my other MTM shirts (or off the rack ones, for that matter). Will this go away as promised, or should I return them to get the collars remade (they gave me that option)? It's pretty noticeable even from a few feet away, so I can't really wear them as-is.

issues with fusing will get worse with more washing, not better. return and get money back if possible.
